AVANA Capital’s calling is to support the communities we serve. We live these values beyond the workplace, giving and volunteering where we live and work.
The Saturday Biryani Party is a non-profit organization that provides free meals to construction workers every week at different locations throughout Bahrain. The volunteer program was started by a family looking to build awareness around the often difficult working conditions and economic struggles of the migrant workforce in Bahrain. AVANA Capital’s Bahrain office served as volunteers to deliver meals to hundreds of migrant workers.
For two years in a row, AVANA Capital’s team has volunteered at St. Mary’s Food Bank in Arizona. This community-based organization has a variety of programs that help improve the quality of life for local families and children through food distribution and services. We are always honored to serve this community.
In the winter of 2019, AVANA Capital donated clothes, shoes, games, books and toys to a residential program dedicated to combating domestic violence. The Sojourner Center in Arizona helps nearly 10,000 women and children every year in their community. We are proud to support their efforts and mission to provide a safe haven, services, and education in hopes of achieving a world free of domestic violence.
